Learn from a professional Father Christmas on how to be a fabulous Santa performer
It does not matter if you have never performed as Santa, we want you to work for us.
We have opportunities across the country to perform as Father Christmas and we will teach you everything you need to know.
As well as spending the day with the Envisage team learning about working with our agency you will also learn valuable skills from one of our professional Santa’s who will share all his knowledge, tips and secrets to make you a brilliant Santa performer.
What you can expect from Santa school
You will spend the day with us at the Holiday Inn Coventry which is perfectly located just off the M6 junction 2. There will be up to 20 other budding Santa performers with you learning everything you need to know to be a brilliant Santa.
We will provide a relaxed environment for you to enjoy the day and we will provide free refreshments and lunch during the day too.
As well as learning what it takes to be Father Christmas you will also have FREE pictures taken of you in the costume by a professional photographer for us to use to promote you to our clients.
It’s a full day. You will arrive at 8.30am for registration and a hot drink ready to start at 9am. There will be drinks breaks throughout the day as well as a hot lunch giving you the opportunity to mingle and chat with the other guests. The day will finish at 5pm.

- Santa Outfits – The difference in quality, how to wear it and look after it
- How to behave in and out of the costume
- Santa Etiquette
- Santa history – What being Santa is about, What the suit symbolises
- Frequent questions children will ask you
- Toys & Children’s Trends
- How to pose for pictures
- Beards – Fake and real. The importance of a high-quality beard and how to wear the fake beards
- DBS checks – Where to get them, how much they cost, which one is best suited for Santa and what is legally requirement
- Education on the business side of being Santa – How you get paid and how to do invoices
- Using open questions
- How to make the children feel amazing
- Different types of Santa visits
- Props and how to use them
- Importance of always being in character
- How to talk while in character
- Have simple tricks to entertain the children.

- Envisage Agency will guarantee you will be offered a minimum of 3 opportunities this festive period.
- The minimum pay when performing as Father Christmas is £25 per hour!
- If you are a new Santa to Envisage, once you have worked 3 events, WE WILL REFUND YOU THE £99 YOU PAID FOR SANTA SCHOOL!
- If you have worked for us before as Santa, when you have worked 3 events in 2022 we will refund you half of the £99 you paid for Santa school
